A take on Martin Niemoller’s quotation: “First they came for the National Socialists, and I did not speak out because I wasn’t a national socialist. Then they came for the writers, and I did not speak out ~ because I was not a writer. Then they came for the ethnic-patriots, and I did not speak out, because I was a liberal. Then they came for the dissidents – the holocaust deniers, and I did not speak out because I believed EVERYTHING said about the holocost. Then they came for me ~ and there was no one left to speak for me.”
